The Department of Commerce is started in 1962 as UG course and PG Course in 2016 1) Consistently good results. 2) The department has succefully organized workshops on career in banking & finance & Entreprenurers .3) One Minor Research Projects are ongoing under the scheme of U.G.C. 4) The Students of our Department have achieved prize in ‘Avishkar’ in Poster Presentation Research Competition.5) We have started Departmental library. 6) Paper Presentation &Participation in National, International & State Level conferences, Seminar, Workshops 7) Staff delivers Guest Lectures at various college & society.8) We created a new commerce blog- Its name is commerceworld, PDVPCommerce.blogspot.com. 9) We had a MOU with Altimateinfotradepvt.Sangli (PAN Card)

Patil Library, Tasgaon . 11)Poster presentation in commerce Activity. 12) Research Competition..13) Industrial Visit –a) In Suyesh Foundry in M.I.D.C, Miraj. b) Pranav Industry, process unit and manufacturing spare parts of trucks M.I.D.C, Miraj. c) Vasatan dada Sugar industry, Sangli.14) visit to Agriculture Exhibition in State, National and International level which is conducted in Sangli.15) Sketches of Management Guru’s , Sketches of world and Indian Top 10 Women’s Enterprenuers drawn by student Aims to Motivate ideal management and Self employment 15) Arranged PAN CARD CAMP – In 2011-12 , 163 students Draw a PAN CARD and In 2016, 70 students Draw a PAN CARD Aims to necessary in every walk of life. 16) Donation to Deaf & Dumb School , Tasgaon – Distributed Fruits & Sweets and given Rs 5101 to the Chairman Mr. Rajmane& they appreciated work & given Letter of Honor.17) Visit to Dr. Pathak Orphanage & Harbor at Miraj – Aims to make awareness about the social work in Slum Area.18) Visit to LIC Branch in Tasgaon 19) Visit toCA Office in Tasgaon20) Last two years started certificate short (8 days) course on income tax (E-return).21) We conducted workshop on E-banking.22) Celebrating a send off function.
