National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore, proposes thatevery accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). As per the NAAC guidelines, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was established at Padmabhushan Dr Vasantraodada Patil Mahavidyalaya, Tasgaon in the year 2004. It is an internal quality assurance mechanism of the institution which works towards realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. IQAC is a significant administrative body that is responsible for all quality matters, to initiate, plan and supervise various activities and develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the Institution.

Towards attaining excellence, the IQAC of the Institute

  • Co-ordinates the dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.
  • Ensures accountability and transparency in documentation of various programmes and quality assessment visits.
  • Organizes professional development and administrative training programmes for the teaching and non- teaching staff.
  • Co-ordinates in preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR).
  • Co-ordinates timely and efficient execution of the recommendations/suggestions by its members.
  • Monitors quality enhancement activities of the college.
